part of the problem is my car does not really know it is in neutral cause i think the neutral switch is sending a + signal but the ecu wants a - signal. i added a toggle switch to send a - signal to the ecu manually and now occasionally it drops hard to almost stall then comes back up
also it does not know the ac is so the rpms drop with ac compressor
the timing seems to constantly change.
i seem to have wiring diagrams from mazda shop manuals and they seem to match most of the wires.

Re: BPT pinout
By the way you guys did look at the year of my car right. Its a 95. Same as the 94. You need to swap a lot. Cluster from 93 and under, mechanical speedo cable, wiring harness, pinouts, and a brain. Look in the 95 shop manual, same as 94, and compare wires and pinouts to the gtx wiring diagrams in the gtr swap faq, there are bpt wiring diagrams there.blindfendersk8r wrote:i need body pin harness schematic

i kept my 94 gauge cluster and the elctronic speedo.
i did not have a working speedo for over 2 years but a few months ago i realized that I can us the 94+ speed sensor, lifted to match the height of the cable bp speed sensor. I used a couple nuts to create a gap between the speed sensor and the tranny housing at the bolt that connects it.
do not use the mx6 speed sensor it is a myth that it works, its not fun to have the gear pop off the sensor and drop down in the shifter part of the tranny. my website has pics of this
