My KL36 supposibly had a speed limiter, but Lazzyie removed it. Kp2t has a KL36 ECU I believe, and it has a limiter around 180-190 Km/h.

It should be removable by cutting the "Speedometer To ECU" wire listed in the Online Shop manual, but I don't know of anyone who has tried it.

to remove my limiter, I did this..

Cut that wire It is coming out of the medium sized (22 wires) plug going into your ECU and the diagram is as if you were looking into the plugs on the ECU (wires are coming towards you).

The diagram I believe says Green/Red, but the marking 1M should be on the ECU.

You may be right, but it's still 1M. Check the online manual F2-148

Yeah KL-36 cuts at ~115 mph.

I don't remember the pin number i cut on my 1993 MX-3 GS, but it removed the speed limiter completely and no CEL, or ill effects.. :!:

But i remeber the wire being way smaller gauge then the rest and i think mine was black and white. I'll get back to you on that.
