ya, I have a turbo'd BP with a NA ECU, RX7 B code MAF, and SAFC II running off of 460cc injectors and a MAP Sensor instead of the 4 wrie TPS. what do you want to know? What porblems do you have? Boost lvl?

lol, It came up on clubprotege.com awhile ago. You just use like a 2 bar map sensor for the Throttle %. You wire the Output into the SAFC II harness for throttle % because the MX-3/Protege/Escort 3 wire TPS is either 0% or 100%.

And What Boost lvls are you running man??? And no with the SAFC you don't need to mess with the maf. The maf is a global setting, I have mine a little rich then used the SAFC II to set back all the injector settings so I have good AF ratios.

I had a custom DP made for me along with a 2.5" exhaust. But give me a day to find my old settings that I had when I had the 370cc injectors.

Do you have any way to tune? EGT? Widebande O2? Narrowband O2?

im gonna try to tune it with a smog machine sniffer, a four gas analyser. how much did it cost you to get that dp made? its hard to find someone to make the four bolt flange for me.

I had a gasket so I took it to the local Laser Cutting place and had them make me one. The exhaust shop then made me an exhaust and half the IC piping for $450. It was a great deal.

My fuel settings from memory:

RPM low fuel high fuel

1k -32% -%15
2k -33% -%14
3k -33% -%13
3.5k -32% -%12
4k -33% -%13
5k -34% -%13
6k -35% -%14
7k -36% -%15

Couldn't find the ones from when I have 370ccs. prolly give each percent a +6 incrament and tune from there (SO -15 on mine would be -9 on yours). This is a map for 460cc injectors with a hybrid turbo :).

Both me and one of the guys off of there spliced it in at the VAF. Do not splice it in at the TPS. It is only 5V when you aren't at WOT. But if I remembered right the VAF was the only place I could find a 5V source that was easy to get to.

And what color was the wire to the vaf? :D
Im doing this conversion tomarrow.
I think a higher power wanted me to do this cnversion. The 2 bolts Randomly snapped off in the throttle body for the tps.
15 lbs is fun but not at part throttle when the engine f---ing missfires because its running rich.

Oh and btw for a future reference.
Gp sorensen part number for a map sensor for a turbo buick (the 3.8 v6 which i believe is a 2 bar)
Is 779-11502. and there like 33$.

Bugs happen to know of a cheap 3 bar map sensor?
