Post by n0thing68 »

so far i havent been able to sell my 92 MX-3 to anyone for any reasonable price, so im thinkin i can get more by parting it out, or if anyone out there wants to buy the whole thing.... $900, i have pics, and the car does run just fine, and i did mean FROM a RUNNING MX-3 in the topic
[This message has been edited by n0thing68 (edited December 11, 2000).]

Have you done any mods to the car? Got any goodies you'd care to part? i.e. clear lenses, spoilers, etc.
94 GS - PRM intake, Thermo spacers, clear signal + side markers, custom, colour-matched window vent guards, custom dual guage pod, front + rear OEM mudguards, colour matched washer fluid nozzles.....

What model do you have?ie. engine? Condition of parts? If it is the V6, I am interested in your alternator. Send some pics to chris.malden@sk.sympatico.ca
Thanks
Chris

Well to be honest I don't really know what the hell I need, but there is a big crack in the accordian-looking air intake that I taped up...but it doesn't seem to stop the engine light from coming on and my engine from stalling. I have a 1994. Is this an easy part to upgrade or install myself from an old part???

ok, its a 92 mazda mx-3 1.6 ltr, manual tranny, with many many highway miles. the only "enhancements" i've given it are tinted window and a bra. the both cv axles, water pump, and mass/airflow sensor are about a year old. the clutch is about 1.5 months old. the car color resembles silver. i have some NEAT hubcaps i put on it that i got from autozone, as well as the fake chrome windshield wipers. as far as i know the engine is in good shape, the only leak it has comes from the oil pan GASKET. most of the interior is intact, carpet need cleaning, dash looks new. the arm rest pad (ya know the thing in the middle that you lift up to reveal the most inconveniently placed cup holder i have ever seen) is damaged, i have the recall letters about the seatbelts, hmmm and a perfectly good spare tire
yes, MAF sensors are expensive. They are used by the computer to calculate the proper air/fuel ratios, etc. They also limit the tuning possibilities of putting an intake on an MX
