Post by mazdasport »

I have just recently aquired a valve tick -- I was wondering how I can get rid of it or what I can do about it. Thanks in advance.

there are plenty of "fixes" for the valve noise. the only "true" fix is to either replace the lifter or shim it. if you are using too thick of oil, it will sometimes clog up in the oil passage of the lifter. if it's a light case, you can grab some hydro-valve clean from mazda and it works pretty well.
