Hey, I have an idea, we can use the LEDs for turn signal using orange LEDs…… and who wants, can shave the bumper... what you think ?

I think more people should vote no on the LED's
They make them look cheap, and I don't know if I'd choose that over the nasty black-style OEM euro one's Mooneggs has. (The one's he painted the interior on)

I can't wait, these + HIDs will make such a difference, plus they will look great! I think the chrome would look good (on my black car) personally... when I look @ stock projectors on cars the chrome ones seem to look nicer than black housing but we'll see! I am indifferent on the LEDs

These forums are not making anything easier on me. When you come to the MX-3 forums, you better go ahead and start saving up money. So many things goin on at once. These are the things that help keep us here, NON STOP. haha
Thanks to "Spyder", and MX-3.com
I think these headlights look better then stock. I wouldn't mind a different style, but they are projectors for the mx-3, so of course I'm diggin em. To address the L.E.D. situation, I think it would make alittle more sense for the L.E.D.'s to be on the other end of the headlights, for blinkers.. maybe?
I'm pretty sure I'd like them alittle better in black as well.
Smooth

I would like blinkers in the lights, too. If they don't make them with them, I'll put some in the very outer edges, like someone else did. But I would REALLY like them to be made that way! Then I would shave the OEM ones.

This thread officially pisses me off. Don't post that you're going to produce one of the most sought after and never achieved wich list items in the history of the MX-3 world and then just clam up.
Spyder, if you read this, I am at the point where I may not even buy your product because I feel like you're jerking me around.

Re: Spyder Halo Projector Headlights for Your Mx3! Coming Soon..
Are there also different options for the projectors??
European cars aren't approved with amerikan type projectors, for many people this would be a huge disappointment and might not buy them.

Re: Spyder Halo Projector Headlights for Your Mx3! Coming Soon..
Hey guys!! In my opinion we shouldn't ask for too much nit-picky option on the headlight b/c if Spyder is to satisfy everyone's specifics then that would be too hard to produce. As for me, the projectors looks great ANYTHING is better than the OLD, FOGGY oem headlights. Let the production roll!!! If the projector is illegal in the country then we can always change them ourselves which is a old lot easier/cleaner than doing a civic projector mod.
Right now I just want to know the expected production release date!!! Also, how can we buy them and the Price??

If they put the blinkers in them a design similar to the del sol one piece lights would look great. There's tons of pics in the thread linked below. The sides actually glow yellow at night when you turn them on.
My roommate has a del sol and I found him a set at the junkyard.

^ Those look quite nice. Who knows if Spyder's company would change the design at this point...I hope they would.

yeah man, just change the entire concept completely.....onlytrueromeo wrote:^ Those look quite nice. Who knows if Spyder's company would change the design at this point...I hope they would.
like we aren't waiting long enough just to hear something back from him...
@ wytbishop
come on man, we have seen the prototypes mounted already, i don't think they will let us down just like that.. maybe they are really busy at this moment and don't have the time to also post on the forum..
might be a idea to point 1 person and let him make contact with the shop and post al progress made here on the forum. now everybody is speculating about the time needed for them to get into production, the price etc...

I don't want them to change it completely...just get rid of the LED's.
