MX3 LOCK STUCK??

Post by MX3 Raw »

I have a 93' MX-3 and for some reason on the driver side door the key is not able to turn and, I feel the key starting to bend.

I tried it on the passenger side door and it worked fine.

What can be the problem , and where can I buy a new replacement?

I just bought this car today so its all very new to me.

Thank You, Nick

I use Break-Free CLP. Unlike WD-40 is a longer lasting lubricant, preservative. It also eat through corrosion and build-up of foreign matter. WD-40 works more by displacing water, loose rust and dried lubricants then that lubricating value evaporates off. Break-Free lubricates immediately but gets better as it cure which unlike WD-40 continues to prevent water and grit from getting into the mechanisms. The other good thing about it is it doesn't damage most paints and finishes. It is not available at automotive stores but at gun shops and sporting dept. at Wal-marts in the US.
