Hi guys!

I really need some advice here...

Here's the deal:

I have a 98 MX-3 RS (I live in Brazil, and Mazda imports from Japan until 98, and sells the MX-3 until 99..when I bought mine

Now THAT is a pickle...For the price of a BPT swap you could probably do a turbo setup.
Think about what kind of HP you want to make, and then consider the numbers you start with.
I think the B6 and BPT make 105-110 and 180-210 (T-chrged), so figure your costs from there.

If i was you id just turbo my b6-ze engine.
Its still fairly new. There's alot of work involved with swapping in the BP (tranny, axels, mounts etc).

more potential with the bpt if a lot of power is your goal, but also very expensive. putting a turbo on the stock b6 is a lot cheaper, just limited on power in stock form.

I would love to hear what Jarid and John Walsh (Jade Crew)have to say abou the B6-ZE...and anybody else with a 1.6 DOHC turbo too..

Expecting those kind of numbers, you should go with the BPT. You won't have to worry about crap breaking, and you have enough to push it further in the future.
