94 MX-3 on the chopping block, good extras
94 MX-3 on the chopping block, good extras
i recently bought a new(er) car and am putting the 94 GS MX-3 to pasture. there is a problem though. the thing is running like crap and wont smog. it is registered though, but no tags until it is smogged. i am desparate and am close to donating it to charity. here is the deal, i am in san diego ca, and would much rather see it go to a fan. it has some cool stuff on it:
-MS (replica) front nose
-tokiko struts (+/- 1000 miles)
-eibach springs (cut just a tad, 50k miles or so)
-front and rear corksport strut tower braces
-TWM Short Shifter (+/- 1000 miles)
-PRM Pro Kit Intake (+/- 1000 miles)
-Indiglo Gauge Faces
-KVR Cross-Drilled or Slotted Rotors (front and rear set, a bit rusty from sitting in the cold)
-Thule mounts
well there you have it. i can sell the lot for $1000 (neg), but you have to take the whole car. it runs, but sputters out at half or more throttle and i just cant figure it out and quite frankly dont have the time. i can part it out too, just make me an offer on what you want. keep in mind i will not take the stuff off (exept for the PRM intake, that is easy), but you can come over, i have a floor jack.
in case you are curious i got a 2001 Audi S4.

its your o2 sensors, my car did the same sputtering thing and worked great after replacing the o2 sensors.
I replaced em with a pair of 1-wire universal units that cost 17 each instead of the OEM relacements that cost over 80 each
BTW: nice car....i wish you lived closer, i'd buy it.

I'll take the entire gauge cluster with reverse glow gauges. I got armor all cleaner on my plastic clear cover and left it on there for a couple days in the heat, and it ruined my clear cover. E-mail me with a price. Tyler17rose@hotmail.com

Re: 94 MX-3 on the chopping block, good extras
It's funny how all these ppl from Canada and the mid-west are requesting parts from the car when he clearly stated that he doesn't have the time to remove thsee parts, unless you are local to SAN DIEGO and can remove them yourself.
Maybe you guys should read his post before requesting all these parts????
