Ah ok I will be sure to do that. I just cant wait to get my replacement hood. One of my only goals with theis BBK was for it to clear 15" rims. I dont want to get rid of my MS-01´s.......to rare and hard to findclunet wrote:I'm running a JDM curved neck with outlaw spacers and had the same issue with the hood rubbing. I took the liner off the hood, then cutout a small section of one of the supports under the hood so the IM does not hit anymore. Plus I spaced the hood up with a couple of washers on both sides (actually made the hood flush with the top of the fenders). Left the liner off, no need for it really.
Thanks for the info on the BBK. I see you have nice 15" wheels, but the solution may be to go up to 16" wheels... that should solve your clearance issue...

Hey thanks alot guys. I cant wait to bolt these up for real and get a test run of them on the street and possibly the track in a few weeks. Im still sorting out a few engine issues.marcdh wrote:Nice brakes! Are they nice and light too? Aluminium top hats and calipers I assume.
lol I actually didnt think of that. That may be crazy enough to work. I would of tried it but i already posted the box back friday so i could get another set. I wish i would have seen the RX7 set up first though I would of went that route.Josh wrote:You know it sounds like something a 5-10mm spacer would solve
Looks great btw
They are bigger. The calipers and rotors BUT surprisingly it was around the same weight as the OEM stuff when I had it off give or take a kilogram or 2. One of my worries is that the BBK was going to add alot of weight but nomarcdh wrote:Nice brakes! Are they nice and light too? Aluminium top hats and calipers I assume.
So after spending at least 100USD on rear endlinks over the years I finally created my own KULLUMI-LINK Brand end links (patent pending) cost me 13 dollars
