Since people were drooling over the 5 lug swaps. here's my best friend scotts mx3. 5 lug swap, much larger 1st gen PGT turbo brakes all around, RX8 wheels, on D2 coilovers. it also has Tiburon leather seats, and a dash conversion.

I could look at that car on a daily basis and still be impressed with it haha, I feel like this thread is more of an interesting pictures then rare.kulluminati777 wrote:very great car indeed but 2 things. And youre a bit guilty of reposting pictures in this thread too hahah
Honestly though, it's just nice to have content no matter where it's from so long as it's related to the MX3.

Re: Official RARE MX-3 photos thread
Scott's car is still my all-time favorite MX-3. I do lament his choice to convert to FE-T, but I respect the work he's putting into the swap, and like the car even more for the added man hours.
Monoxidechild, will you PLEASE get me some pictures of Scott's rear spindles, where they bolt to the TTLs?
I need to know exactly how he machined that area down... The only feasible way I can imagine involves dramatically reducing the effects of the passive AWS effect. I want to see if I missed something, somehow... If not, I'll be stuck with Protege5 hubs on MX-3 spindles.
