Got my old skool 225/50/15 BF Goodrich Comp T/A drag radials mounted and balanced today.
should help with the wounds lol

True, must be real nice to not have to worry too much about accidentally scratching it, not having to spend forever cleaning it, etc. & knowing low(ish) cost of parts must be amazing!! I so wish parts/wreckers were as cheap here as they are in the States & Canada!! A wrecker here quoted me $100 for ONE glass headlight from a car he had in the yard!! He was the only wrecker in my state that I could find with any parts for any Eunos model (most said "you have a what?!" when I said Eunos...)

Were lucky in Canada, MX-3's are cheap and plentiful.

Put a new Aeromotive Stealth 340 ful pump in the MX-326GS tonight.
Image

I was concerned about the stock MX-3 parts car fuel pump which was of unkown vintage and origin. If you run out of fuel while using nitrous, the nitrous uses your engine as fuel which will ruin your whole day.

Image

Image

Image

The pump was a tad too long.
Image

I chopped the inlet tube down about a half an inch.
Image

I had to remove the sender to make room for the cutter.
Image

Cleaned up the cut with a small wire brush on my drill.
Image

The stock rubber band?! had seen better days. Although the pump did not seem to be going anywhere, I put two plastic ties on it for good measure.
Image

Image

The sock that came with the pump was tricky to get back into the tank, If I were to go in there again, I would but the stock pump sock back on.

Been thrashing on the 326 to get it ready to race on Sunday. I am not sure how, but the 225/50/15 drag radials don't rub.

Sqeeze and poke? LOL

Big 'n' littles wrong wheel drive style. 225/50/15 front & 205/50/15 rear ;-)

I know, I was looking at pictures and it looks so much better with the 205/50/15's all round. The 225/50/15's look like big fat Marshmallows. Keeping my eye on the prize, beating my friends Turbo Focus

I am an Aeromotive dealer, don't say the "W" word

Got some new Balonies. Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II's in 205/50/15 :-) Can't wait to try them out. My CV shafts are toast and possibly my wheel bearings. I have new replacements waiting to go on, but no time :-( The CV shafts were one of the good used parts on the car, as they made no funny noises on the MX-3 parts car. They make all kinds of horrible noises now after a few months of blissful torture LOL.

It felt noticably slower with the 225/50/15 BFG drag radials Vs the 205/50/15 Falken's Azenis RT615's, so hopefully the Mickeys will do the trick.
BFG's in pic. I am going to put the 225's on the Muscletang. (The car they were intended for originally)

Road raced it on saturday;-)

I ripped the front exhaust hanger right out of the floor on a candy cane. Never had trouble with the exhaust on the street/strip, the 323 wants to be a race car, it keeps trying to loose it's exhaust on the road course LOL (Last time Road racing the EGR plug in the header fell out)

Your tire setup (larger in the front) should work well to help balance the car on the track.

The set up I had at the track was 205/50/15 Falken Azenis RT-615 all the way around. Like you say though, I should try 225/50/15's on the front and leave the 205/50/15's on the back. Kinda side tracked on my new project though :D

Your car would look almost unremarkable on the street... That blows my mind, it's definitely a hell of a build. I try not to check back until 2-3 new pages are added, and every time I still stop and stare. Keep up the good work man!

Thanks, it surprises a few people. The track official was the best. "Your not going to believe this, but you need a helmet". My first trip to the 1/4 mile, I was not sure what to expect so I brought my helmet, but did not wear it first pass. You don't want to be that guy runninig 16's wearing a helmet LOL
