Supercharger

Post by mazdaspeed23 »

So i want to go Forced induction with my klze. but im thinking more of the lines of a supercharger. the only one that i can seem to find that ppl use the most is an Eaton M62 Supercharger. As far as my searching has gone it seems that they dont make the m62 anymore.. Does anyone know of another supercharger that will fit on the ze?

Its forced inDuction.

Even the M62 isn't a direct bolt in, it requires and adapter plate. You'll need to find another belt driven, preferably clutched, SC that has the same general dimensions.
Now with Moderator power!

Well the m62 is used because of its size and its affordable used. My truck uses an m62 stock. I think stillens kit for the 05+ uses an m90. If you want one that's new, it'll be much more expensive. They have come out with newer tech roots chargers, you can just find the dimensions of the m62 and search the site for a new version of it, its that simple.

You want to buy a new supercharger then? Look at centrifugals like rotrex, paxton, procharger etc. Or the new eaton line up. Space is tight though. You will need to relocate your oil filter if you put it where the AC would be. Take a look at my work log for m62 installation pics.

You can still pick up used m62s. They can be reconditioned. A similar option is the SC14, which again will be used.
