Bought myself new tyres 195/50 R15. "Sportiva Super Z". Should be good in slaloms and drag races. Heres the thread:

Back mudflaps
New lights in the Odometer
Spring came to Lithuania, so my MX got a little bit of fresh water

Damn, it's been a while since I posted something in this thread So guys, more than a year has passed. What kind of mods do you think I've done to my MX-3?
FINALLY I repainted it, did some minor fixing and of course, the great finale, TURBO.
Yes, I did turbo my 1.6 SOHC engine. How strange is that?
A few photos of all these events. Yes, Intercooler is still to come to my turbo project.
It runs, it accelerates 0-60mp/h in about 7 seconds (good for a SOHC, eh? ). Still have some bugs, but they will be fixed.

TURBOOO YESSSSSSS
Paint looks good! Gonna be keeping that SOHC? Or is there a plan of putting another engine into it to make some more power?
BP will drop in realllly easily...just saying...

those are BORBET replicas i think, it's printed MGN on the wheel Oh, and I forgot to post the newest photo with repainted wheels
My main plan was to boost this particular engine. Becaues everyone is saying that the SOHC is pure garbage. Well, now i'm putting around 160-170bhp with 0.7 bar boost good enough for me. Not planing a BP swap

YAH. That's green. Loving the color and wheel color.
We all want to be fast and look cool. Cool changes but fast never does.

Thanks for the support guys but i still need to get rid of detonation, because sometimes it overboosts to 0.8-0.9 bar and the fuel detonates

You need an intercooler! I used a MX6/ford probe side mount in the engine bay for a couple of years. it worked great and was cheep. also what are you running for management?slimas wrote:Thanks for the support guys but i still need to get rid of detonation, because sometimes it overboosts to 0.8-0.9 bar and the fuel detonates
