for the trailing arms I used 3rd gen ford escort ones. They are tubular instead of stamped and they are also kicked in which allows for wider wheels and lower stance without rubbing. I salvaged the front lateral links so i could keep the mx3 style links and swaybar. I did replace the bushings since I had to torch them to remove the outer spindle bolts. Knowone makes these so I modded some from a 99 dodge stratus. This can be tough if u dont have access to a drill press and HD grinder or ban saw. Rear adjustable Lateral links I used improved design tubular ones that have poly inserts from a 2nd gen escort GT made by Dana/Affinia availabe at Napa where I work. I got the Dana stuff for 10% over cost and the trailing arms from pic and pull. I also drilled a few holes in the bushings and added poly windshield sealant for extra stiffness

Trailing arms: $15 each
rear lateral links: $39 each(retail is abt $56 each)
front lateral link bushings: $9 each(retail is $15 each)
Poly sealant: $12($20 retail for a caulk tube) I also used this on my front bushings and motor/ trans mounts
Paint/primer/sanding discs: ~$40. It depends on your methods and how much u care abt how it looks and how long it lasts. I had access to a bead blaster which didnt cost me anything since i did it after hours at work, but u could easily use a die grinder with sone 36 or 50 grit discs to refurbish the stuff. Bead blasting is easier but if u dont have free access like I do it can be Quite costly. We charge $70 per hour!
I also got frustrated with one of the long bolts at the spindle end and beat it bad with a hammer and had to get one from Mazda. $22 retail and thier national stock is running very low! I def sugest just heating them apart and replacing the bushings like i did

Hope this helps man. PM me with any ?s Unfortunately I still cant upload pics, but if u need something specific i can snap one with my phone and text it to ya

Nice. The stock bushings for the 3rd gen trailing arm match the mx3s without having to be modded?
Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon. ;)

the front bolts right in. on the knuckle you have to use the shorter of the two bolts. lost track of which are which, but i know i had the ones from the escort and from the mx-3 and i used whichever are shorter

Instore this weekend will be a completely rust free/undercoat/rustoleum underside. Its time consuming but worth it. still workin on gettin the pics online. Gonna be a long weekend since i have to work as well, but i will get it done. I also broke 2 of the 4 rear subframe bolts which will have to be drilled :(
