Intake Suggestions

Post by Letters11 »

Im looking to get an intake for my 1995 1.6 dohc. I know there are thousands of posts on this but I have searched for the past few days and havent had my questions really answered. I noticed that I could possibly use an integra intake with some modification. Some of them that ive seen only have one nipple for a hose as well as no opening for my MAF. Im assuming that I will need to cut it somewhere for this to fit? Anyway, what would your advice be for these intakes. Thanks

or none of the above?

Why did you make two of the same posts? It's annoying... delete one.

Anyhow, I'm looking at doing this soon as well. I'm a '96 B6DE, so same thing. There are Integra kits with 2 or 3 nipples. Keep lookin... And don't forget you can always add nipples if you need, or just use breathers on the hoses..

this is done to death!!!
Please search again.
None of those are any good.
You need 3 nipples for the best fit, they will also need to be located near the elbow off the TB. I don't understand what you are saying about the MAF.... you don't need a hole for it... it fits in line... being the CAI is a pipe... the entire thing is a hole and you can just get a rubber coupler and poof.

A Probe GT short ram could work as well. will need some modifications and some extra rubber couplers

maf would go just after the filter

I don't know.. get a tape and measure the maf, the filter, the intake pipe. You may have to wait till it arrives to do this. Not really complicated.

looks like it does not have enough of a bend.. but for under 20.00 just try it. Not a loss if you have to buy a few.
