ok so i heard that some automatic cars for example hondas and others have a little spot for a clutch specifically for if one was to ever do a manual tranny swap. Does the mx3 have this?
Does anyone know what i am talking about or am i just crazy? haha

Re: tranny question
I doubt it.
I don't understand, to mate to the auto flywheel? that doesn't make any sense.
Just get a manual flywheel and a decent, normal clutch...

Re: tranny question
I thought he meant a spot for a clutch pedal?? If so, you can put a clutch pedal in by swapping to the manual pedal brackets.

Re: tranny question
yeah i meant in some automatic cars they make a specific spot for a clutch pedal for if a tranny swap was to happen it would make things easier. I dont really know exactly, i just overheard some guy talking about it one day.

Re: tranny question
almost all unibody cars were made from the same mold for any given model so yes it has all the same holes as a standard car if its an auto, so holes in the firewall etc are all the same right across the board. Its cheaper to make 1 unibody and just close off the uneeded holes with a grommet.
