So I picked up my very first mx 3 two days ago.
A 94 GS, now after putting it on a hoist I noticed my front right spring is broken.
So I would like to Redo all struts and springs.
but I'm unsure of what to go with, I had read you should upgrade if you wanted to go with the KLZE, is this true? if so could someone point me in the right direction?
as well I made a unsuccessful trip to the autowreckers for a temporary fix for the spring problem (The wrench busted off before the nut turned) but I noticed it had some awesome looking seats in it. the car was a 93 RS I would assume? the seats were different than my GS seats in the way the headrest was, it was all conected with a hole in the middle rather than the single metal bracket.
I was curious if these would fit in my GS.
In no means do I have any idea what I'm talking about =)
so please forgive me for any mistakes.
Thanks.
Kyle

Another Albertan!! I prefer the 92-93 seats anyway, I would get them if I were you. The broken spring is not uncommon. A nice set of lowering springs and decent struts will cost you about 600. Do a search on the online manuals and you'll have all the info you need.

Since you live in Edmonton I would NOT recommend the H & R Springs. I have Eibachs and even them are pretty rough on Edmonton roads. I have KYB Gr2 Struts and Eibachs. Been up in Edmonton and all over alberta with them for about 2 years now and haven't had any problems. Make sure to replace your mounts while you are at it. Also I would say put the 93 style seats in they are a direct fit. Much more comfy!

Opps i guess I posted this in the wrong place.
When I posted I was only thinking about seats...
But I have to wait 2 days to get the seats on my day off
Hopfully there still there.

Hoodzy is right. Due to the horrendous quality of Edmonton's city streets you'll probably be most happy with Eibach springs...or even stock springs on a nice upgraded shock. I have Eibach Escort ZX2 springs on Tokico ZX2 shocks and it's not bad...but definitely harsher than stock.
