18" tire size help
Anyone know what the max tire size or best tire size is to use on 18"s with a stock suspension?I am planning on lowering it about 1 1/2" later down the road.THANKS
Re: 18" tire size help
Most common size for 18's on the mx-3 is 215/35's.

215 35.
If they made a 205 35 it would be even smaller of a sidewall. I have never seen a 205 35 in real life. Almost all 18" rims are at least 7" wide neways so 215 is a good fit

Re: 18" tire size help
Yea that will fit fine, shouldn't rub. Just make sure you get some camber bolts to even out the camber.
Make sure the rim has an acceptable offset as well, 40-45mm will be fine

Re: 18" tire size help
i have 18s with 215/35/18 tyres on an its extrememly close at the back, so be careful with a suspension drop u might want to doctor the arch just a tiny bit to clear it.

Re: 18" tire size help
Thanks,I'm actually rethinking the 18"s,I may go with 17"s.Way cheaper to shoe, and alot more aimed towards the tuner look.
