Misfire.. help please!!!
i have a 95 mazda mx-3 DOHC 4 cyl and when accelerating then i hit 3500 RPM's the car rock's as if some one smashed the brake and pressed the gas again. it seems its a fuel problem because its severity is based on how far the accelerator is pressed down. i already replaces plugs, wires, disty cap and rotor. i am replacing the fuel filter today. (previous owners just told me it been running on the same fuel filter for 70k
) hopefully this solves the problem but if not any ideas?

Re: Misfire.. help please!!!
what was the temp outside? Did you let the car warm up before you hit 3500 rpm? My car will do that if I "get in and go" while the temp is lower. Other than that, totally healthy.

Check your timing, sounds like its off by a few degrees.
