C'mon guys, i thought we had that sorted out? The small one I believe. I like the small window.

Yea first off you guys went all NUTS when I suggested loosing the small window.... I would loose it all... Oh wait I did... but I mean come on like Mike said I thought it was sorted out!

Everything is sorted, no changes other than loosing the lock cylinder and nozzle.

I guess we are just playing with ideas for future mods. The beauty is that only 1/2 mold would be needed in order to eliminate one or both windows since the inner partition will remain untouched/unmodified.

Well, it was suggested that an insert could be made. Unless on how the mold and laying of the CF is done that if they want they could leave that section uncut, if that's how it's done, but I have no idea on the process for making these CF hatches, but it would be nice if those that don't want it could have it, but that section wouldn't be flush with the rest more likely. Depends on what people want, but it'll be hard to make everyone happy.

IT could be done so that it were flush, but its extra money, labour and so on.

We do a top mold with the glass in place and the RS garnish in place, all molded nice and even.... but I'd need a few of you in on that or JArid to front the extra costs....

I'd say about $800 for the extra work and to manufacturer the top 1/2 mold required.

Of course there would be more CF used so that would also affect the price per hatch. Lets say instead of $600, it would be more like $900-$1000 for a complete hatch with ZERO visibility out the back.

It would take another 30 lbs off (the weight of the glass according to Colin)

Just thought of something else, the portion of CF that would replace the glass would not have the skeleton like our hoods have, this means that the CF would be rather flimsy so im against this idea.. but as they say "money talks and bulls--- walks"

I would like to have the normal hatch minus the nozzle and lock.... that way I'm not locked into using the RS garnish molded in... even though that is what I may use...
