hey man thanks a lot i appreciate that, i guess it was a b6 after all. im a new member here so i dont know much about the site yet. could someone tell me how to post pics? and also where did u find that intake? does anyone know whether the engine mounts are the same for a b6 and a bp?

To post pics: Use photobucket or another image hosting site, they do all the work for you, all you have to do is copy and paste the links.

Intake: I believe it is a modified Integra intake, I could be wrong.

Mounts: There are like 2 that you use the mx-3 mounts for? and 1 from the BP? As far as which is which, consult the experts. I always get confused about the mounts myself.

k cool. does anyone know if theres anything else from the b6 engine i'll have to use with the bp or vise versa? or anything u guys reccomend i replace while im doin the swap?

ive looked all over, i see tons of info for like a sohc to bp swap, but couldnt find nothin really for dohc to bp

ya ive read that post but thanks. i was kinda thinkin on goin with a 94' bp tho.. thats the new gen bp. so is there much diff or any at all with the 94's bp to the 95's?

somewhere in here there is a how to on swapping a newer bp i don't have time for a search right now cause i'm at work but if you honestly try and can't find it i'll try later. search kia bp swap or 2nd gen bp stuff like that it is in there you just have to dig deep it was a while ago

uhm dude did you even look for any of your answers in the FAQ but the way? cause you how to is right there i found it just now on accident wasn't even looking for that is how easy it was to find

hey does anyone know for sure wehther i can use my stock b6 dohc tranny with the same year dohc bp engine?

Hey While the topics going im goin to get in on it. i have the b6 1.6L sohc engine too and wanted to upgrade to something with "potential" if thats the right term. anyway would the bp found in the protege be the best bet with simplicity and that cause i would be able to go to the junkyard or even some place to get one all i would need to know is everything else to get. as i read trans is a smart idea? cause it would be better that having 70hp. if i cant find this answer i will have a garage fab me some manifolds turbo the b6 to like 15psi and put the intercooler on the roof to cool it.

so how is it that every one who keeps posting asking what can i swap or how do i swap a bp in fails to notice the first sticky thread in this section is a how to on the bp swap?
