DOHC vs. SOHC cold air intake
DOHC vs. SOHC cold air intake
Trying to find a cold air for my 95 1.6 dohc. I read that the cold airs from ebay are sohc and will not work with dohc. Is this true and can i Mod a sohc intake to fit a dohc?

it will fit PERFECTLY and you'll have weird parts left over.
And what I mean by perfectly, I mean that you'll be doing some straining to align some of the screw holes, but with perseverance and some sweating, you might be able to persuade everything to line up right.
But yes, that's the kit you want to purchase.

if someone were to log doin that, it would make a good addition to the FAQ. maybe once my engine gets all situated i'll do it. the kit isnt expensive either which is good. i'll do it if it hasnt been added to the FAQ already that is, haha
