need a new transmission, what to buy?

tthis is some old pic of a g-series trans on a sohc.. it can be done so if u look that trans is a g-series.

cool thanks man for the pictures. i kinda understand what your saying, i think your saying the disc doesnt matter if i dont have the proper pressure plate. and i can use a performance pressure plate with just a regular disc and it will be just as good. also im not sure how im supposed to modify the axle, do you have any pictures of that?

i have to look for them i have one of the modifyied and non modified.

ok that picture would be very helpful, i wasnt trying to bash your knowledge i just really havent heard anyone talk about modifyyng a axle on that tranny swap.

shorter gears meaning around 3000rpms in 5th gear going about 60mph..

other than that, thats it nothing special about it.. maybe a somewhat of a lil quicker acceleration but not by much its only a sohc..

cool that sounds kinda good, i still need to see the other axle so i know how it needs to be modded.

ur gas mileage will go up too.

i will get better gas mileage? thats fricken sweet lol. my top speed will go down tho wont it?

its ok i understand what you meant. my top speed wont be as great, because shorter gears means i will be out of gears at a slower mph, but on the tranck, you dont really reach 5th gear anyways, so thats where it comes in very handy, ive never got to 5th gear in a real race anyways lol...in the 8th mile i barely made it to third.

I have racing a Bike 150mph ain't no joke.. on the streets im in 4th gear down the 1/4 mile.

which axles do i have to modify? mx3 or bp??? also i heard that it will be unbalanced if i modify them??? did you find those pictures yet?
