good waste gates

Post by PWRD_BY_HKS »

Okay so I was told to that tial 38mm is a superior wastegate but its like 250 dollars you know. So is there any other less expensive brands I can use. Remember I will only boost 4 lbs. No more. Never.

Man you need to make one big thread not 1000 little ones, and instead of asking a million questions , go read Maximum boost by Corky bell .
Great book very informative , also if you want cheap parts , Buy used , Go to ebay. Also you can use some generic parts for only 4lbs of boost , not everything has to be top of the line for a budget kit like that ..

Not trying to target you and flame you , just trying to inform you on some stuff

ive heard things of the teal knocks offs at low psi. Thats what Ill be using at first. I got me a 4psi yellow spring. Inspected the plunger at it all seems sturdy. Also out wastegates dont sit right on the head like most other kits do so it wont get as hot as those. Some header wrap of course will help. I tought you already had a good waste gate?

Go ceramic coating instead of Header wrap. "Wrap rot" is a terrible thing to see
