That sucks...they're probably getting concerned because all the cool cars are starting to become available for import

Speaking of which, I was going to a car show/drag event at VIR and on the way, there was an R33/R34 Skyline (I've never seen either in person, I couldnt' tell the diff since I think it has a kit on it, but I'm guessing an R33) on the highway. He later showed up to the car show, but I thought the US had stricter vehicle import laws, and hey I saw a car much newer than 15years on the roads.

is the window closed already for 15 yr old imports? you're last post's link stated that it could come into effect by Jan 2008 (and the document was typed by the Canada ruling body) but some kid told me that it has already taken effect and only 20 yr old imports are allowed now ... tell me this kid's full of shiite ...

last i herd the kid is full of s---. even with the 25 year rule you can still import newer cars if you now the right people, For instance my dad knows some people in japan and i could get them to import me a 2002 Skyline and all i would have to do is buy the car and pay for the shipping, duty and for the papers to the car. Or you can import it as a show car, but you dont get any insurance papers. There is allway's ways around the rules.

if you have enough money you can buy anything :roll: including a RHD import vehicle...
