Decided to take her to the Dyno (tomorrow 10/19/06)

Post by LooseChangeRacing »

Ok well I decided to take the baby to the dyno tomorrow and see what she got....anyway heres my short list of mods, what do you guys think i'll hit

KLZE (seems to be running quite strong, no major problems whatsoever)
Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Headers
Hi-Flow Cat and Hi-Flow Resonater
2.5 inch the whole way back
Air Intake down in the hole of doom! lol
(had to edit)
KL36 ECU on 93 Octane all the time

As you can see, not much, i know, it's becuase my next big step is well that, a big step, i'll be doing the turbo kit install with msd igition and hal(stand-alone)

Kinda wish I had the fidanza installed now but it will have to wait for the turbo install

Anyway, what do you guys think I should be hitting....

oo our numbers and mods are almost the same.. you are getting a few more ponies .. what is your altitude? mine was done with 86 octane !! LOL

I did 162 whp and 150 torque. I dont have 2.5 piping tho..

nice numbers :)

Shows me we are at almost same ball park :D i was worried something was wrong with my ze.

Dont you love the noise the car makes at high rpms on thedyno? BROOOOOOOOOOM

Post dyno sheets, i wanna compare af ratio and power curve.

Maybe i should get that ecu u got and vaf, its only a 3 hp diff tho so i dunno if i should.

heh i just did a bunch of research on that subject...

The mustang dyno factors in the weight of the car and also produces a load on the tires (it actually simulates driving on the strip)

A dynojet doesn't factor weight or anything (the rollers just spin lol)

the mustang dynos can be turned into dynojets so they might of done that for you, but if you hit 170 with pretty much the exact same setup as me then I should be able to see between 170-175 for the fact of pacesetter headers have the best flow and especially since mine our coated and trust me they don't heat up very much, my ze actually runs below normal operating temp unless it's extremely hot out...(above 90 degrees)

Nah, they showed me what the car would make on a dynojet...it was more but i don't remember the actual numbers...since i ran my car on the bottle after that and made abou 260 WHP..and they didn't even redline it...and were saying on a dynojet i would see 280 Peak power easy.

Well it looks like you are running OFF THE CHARTS LEAN in the upper RPMs.

So- you are running out of fuel or something.
