Best ECU to use with BP-T mx3

Post by SuperStealth »

I've been searching for about 4 hours and can't find out wich ecu would best work with my mx3 with bp-t swap.

i wanted to use the aem ems but after talking with them, they said it wouldn't work, so that's left me with the

Apexi SAFC-2
Greddy eManage
Haltech e6k
or a corksport reprogrammed ecu

can anyone help me on this thanks

You can find the proper BP26 ECU on various forums...

imazda.com
clubprotege.com

etc...

I use a BP10 ECU and SAFC II. CS Reprogrammed ECU does not work right, so don't get it.

Haltek, SDS, and MSnS are good alternatives.

The best in my mind is still the TEC IIIs racingmazda.com do on their installs. You pay for it but it is hands down THE BEST!

Corksport can find you one if your getting the gtx ecu. They are awsome cause the found me a gtr ECU in a matter of 3 weeks and those are rare.

i have a bpt ecu but with a 94 mx3 it can be a pain in the a-- to wire. it runs pretty damn good but I still and have almost alwways had a jumpy idle when I have ac and brake lights on. It is not battery or alternator as both have been replaced and problem still remains. 94 mx3 just requires a lot of mixing of various ires from bpt harness and original mx3 harness. Fuel managemnt is good and I have a bpt vaf also.
