I believe it would be in a similar manner to this;NOTHING wrote:wondering if anybodys installed an oil temp gauge on a v6 if so where did u put the temp sensor

an oil pressure gauge is different from an oil temp gauge all cars already have an oil pressure switch u can just use that fitting 2 install the new sensor, and the water temp gauge also has a fitting 2 install the sensor, but since our engines dont have an oil temp gauge i waswondering if anybody knew of a spot that has an oil fitting besides the oil pressure sensor switch

My point exactly - to piggy back with the use of a dual output adapter, an oil temp sensor.NOTHING wrote:all cars already have an oil pressure switch u can just use that fitting 2 install the new sensor

Well one part says its on the back of the block. Then that guy said if the fitting was too long it would hit the a/c fan housing so that would mean it was on the front of the block. No one indicates exactly where it is. And from everyones different posts its kinda confusing. I haven't yet looked on my engine for it, though if I did I may be able to find it that way.
thanks, Damon

By the oil filter/cooler, front of engine. That's the one referred to in the link. "Vanished", may be referring to a secondary access plug on the rear of the engine, but I've not seen one in the manual.slimmyslim1420 wrote:Where is the oil fitting located on the engine that runs to the oil light?
