My car is back from the shop

Post by Absath »

I finally got my car back today. She'll be packaged up and stored for the winter soon, but the weather is clear at the moment so I may be able to get in a joyride or two before then.

The custom fitted Sparco fuel door.

We filled in those grooves that ran down the top of the roof. Shaved the antenna and all of the emblems.

Projector conversion, with fog lights.

Next spring I'll take her out for new brakes and rotors, and do the suspension. Probably lower it about an inch and a half. Also finish up the interior. Got the Sparco seats in there now, but I'm removing the rear seats so I'll have to have some carpeting done.

That's the BC2 rear with KMAX sides.

Between parts and labor it was probably close to $8k. The labor was $5k.

You can see in-progress here and throughout my blog starting here

Suspension is still stock. I'll take care of that next spring.

Filling in those grooves on the roof was genius. I had planned to have my antenna shaved when I get my car touched up, might as well follow your example in those extra fill ins.
I hate carbon fiber, but this is easily the best mx-3 i've ever seen.

Partially the reflection, partially the fact that the good wasn't locked down.
