tb swap from auto to manual

Post by gapimpin »

according to the faq you can put a throttle body from an automatic into a car with a manual but you have to change the tps sensor... what is involved in changing a tps sensor from a 4pin automatic to a 3pin manual tps sensor?

A four wire from what? A mx3? I remember having issues with the 3 to 4 wire changeover and the first thing you notice when you take off the sensor of the 3 wire is that there is this little rod sticking out of the throttle body where the tps was and the 4 wire works very differently. Now the 4 wire tps I had was from a protege and I was comparing it to the mx3's but It may be the same problem.
