temperature.

Post by den »

I just bought my mazda mx-3 1.8 v6 a month ago. I am a little worried coz my temperature always goes above half on the gauge, its is more like 3/4 of it. Is this normal? It never overheated yet since I got it. The temperature is like 12- 18 C now here in canada so I dont think it should go above half.

i would say check your radiator..maybe its beginning to get clogged. Ive had friends mx3's do that. Ever since I got my all copper radiator from radiatorworld.com my temp in semmer never goes over half it even sits a little lower. In winder its the same. I guess this is controlled by the thermostat.. replace the thermostat..its regular maintenance anyway why not?

If you do what hgallegos915 says and are happy its not overheating, don't worry about it. The gauges aren't very accurate but more of an indicator than a true gauge - hence no temperature markings on it.
