problems with b6t

Post by nos92mx3 »

Well over the winter i replaced the head gasket and the turbo on my b6t reason being they were both no good. now it will not start, the cams are dead on i also have checked for the keyway probelms and found that none exist. ( i removed the pulleys and check the key way for cracks and sloppiness with the woodruff key and that checks out. Now i have gotten the car to fire but it only runs on 2 cylinders. so my next idea was to check the compression, with the engine cold they were all in the mid-low 130's. Im stumped

Any suggestions?

Shot in the dark here...have you messed with the distributor at all? Could running on 2 cylinders be caused by an incorrectly installed cap?
