Post by RodbeyBur »

Did probes ever come with a 3.0 engine or an engine called a Vulcan?? Vulcan 3.0 came in Taurus / Sables. This guy is telling me they did, and saying he saw two of them in the Junkyard. I wanted to ask you all first before I told him he is Full of s---.

yah the vulcan engine was the engine i think that came in SHOs taurus
(i think).

They didnt come stock in any probes EVER!!
HOWEVER, some people have swapped the SHO engines into probes and other vehicles for their potential.

The 89-92 Probe could be had with a 4 banger, turbo 4 banger, and a V6. The turbo was the fun car and the V6 was more a touring coupe.
