I have a B6T in my Festiva that I was looking to trade for a DOHC 1.8L BP... no one was interested so i gave up the BP idea and kept the B6T. I'm in Mississauga too.

ok ok ok.. i get confused with all the engine designations.. the B6 is the stock DOHC 4banger in the 94-96 MXs, yes? So in theory the B6T should drop right in, yes? what's the difference in power output? Thinking of a BPT swap, but if its the same or better for the B6T, I'll consider that. Sorry to jack the thread, but i dont see too much about the B6T on the forum, so i'm jut jumping on the chance to ask :)

the B6T is just a 4 but the BP is a six. If you already have a four then you'd have to change the tranny, wiring, ecu, motor mounts, etc...
But if you have the 6 then you'd be able to use your tranny and motor mounts.

The BP is a DOHC 4 cylinder. The B6-T is a 4 cylinder SOHC but... its turbo'd. They are both four cylinders... any 4 cylinder that fits the mx-3... will bolt right up i belive, correct me if im wrong.

Oh my god are you guys serious?!

The BP is a 125hp 1.8L DOHC FOUR cylinder, Normally Aspirated. Pretty much the same thing as a B6, except its stretched about an inch. The B6T IS NOT a SOHC, it is a 134hp 1.6L DOHC FOUR cylinder, and it is factory turbocharged. Has way more potential then a non-turbo BP.
