well I worked it out in euros and i think it came to about 2000E.....which is cheap considering its a JDM KLZE fitted etc with an uprated clutch etc....

So at the current exchange rate it looks like being about 1600quid all in. Ive been quoted 10 days

That's sounds very good. I can get the engines (ze) for £450 £500, over here (uk) if any one wants contact details?
I am looking at £490 for a Centre force clutch!

Plus odds and sod's. Say £500

And the chap fitting it, he only charging £15 per hour.....So you can see why I am holding off.

I had £1800-2200 in mind, for the standard swap.

Cant wait though!

Yeah they seem to be, I have a lot of Jap making on the plugs and I have the ZE marking on the intake. And I have been told its from an auto.

Yesterday I spent £1500+ on new 17" rims with tyres, Gmax 40mm lowering springs, and insuring it for a year!
End result (without the springs fitted):
dude....where did you get the lowering springs from??? how much did u fork out? Its on the list too and I'm not really sure what route to go down.

Price is on the site, not bad! A friend of mine has Gmax springs and says they're great! I called them up and got some great service, they'll be here before the end of the week, and fitted on Saturday!

How much did your powerflow exhaust cost you? I was going to get one, £450 ex VAT with de-cat pipe.

I was real lucky with the Powerflow exhaust.....my mate got it off ebay for bout a £100....and now he's just bought a GT-Four.....so he gave me the Powerflow!! REAL lucky!

i've got another powerflow backbox sat in my garage....starting to corrode a bit cos i think its damp in there....it was awesome when it was on ....seriously loud!!

I'm after a de-cat pipe now too....how much more do reckon it'll give?

de-cat, I'd say with the HKS induction kit (standard headers btw?) you'd get between 3 and 8bhp.
I spent £1500+ on this car yesterday, now i'm contemplating another £500 on the exhaust. YOUR fault UKMX-3!!!

No... Not yet, the guy with my car and engine lives opposite me. And like i said he has had it for a month and no progress as yet, but as soon as it's in your more than welcome.

The swap sounds to good to be true, its got to be amazing to drive even standard

unless your exhaust is starting to fall apart there is no point in getting a full system ( Aside from de-cat ) because the OEM mazda unit is okay, and a back box is really only for making nice noises in the little 1.8...

Just get a Rage Back Box....it has the benefits of being properly flow tested etc....unlike Powerflow....
