Okay well i already ordered my motor and computer but my sponsor (HDS) has never done the swap i got a full intructional of the mx-3 links but what noone seems to mention is what clutch they used and if the tranny from kl8 fits also if anyone could please tell me where the call numbers on the ZE are that be great.

The k8 tranny fits. i used some perfomance clutch i got off ebay..worked fine
You can also use an mx6, probe gt, or 626 manual tranny.(v6 of course)
im not sure what u mean by call numbers, but the codes and shiz are on the back of the valve covers (dont need to remove anything to see them..maybe some dirt) and the have codes stamped on the cams. forget what there suppose to say : P.

the 1.8L clutch is 10mm smaller thanl the 2.5L clutch, the 2.5L clutch will fit on the K8 flywheel

so any clutch kit from a 2.5 (mx6-probe) will fit into the stock mx3 tranny housing. so what would be better, getting a aftermarket clutch for the mx3 or the same clutch for the 6 or probe?
Don't skimp on the clutch, you might want to up the power down the road(cams,N2o). Be sure to inspect the mounts, poly fill if necessary might wanna go mazdaspeed. These are some of the things I'm going through now with cams and all.
