Ze cams and pistons

Post by ncmx3 »

Hello everyone. Where can I get 10:1 or 11:1 pistons for the kl engine? Where can i find cams that are a step above the ze cams? Ive searched the net left and right and came up short. Any ideas?

10:1 pistons are stock ze pistons. you can get 11:1 pistons from czt (cyborgzero.com)
as far as cams goes..you can get them from either interprep, cyborgzero, have them reground by Mike Selli, colts cams

Will the 11:1 pistons work in the 1.8 engine? I have assumed that all the Kl blocks are the same.

well no the czt 11:1 pistons won't fit in your 1.8. the k8 bore is just too small...maybe you can get custom ones made for the k8

I understand the bore is smaller. Can the 1.8 be bored out large enough to fit the klze pistons? How much for the ze cams?

For the price, just buy a KLDE or KLZE and swap in the pistons

It's cheaper to buy a used complete ZE than it is just to buy aftermarket 10:1 pistons.
