Update:
Talking to Jason, he will only need a MX-3 there for about 3-5 hrs to test fit the lenses. It looks like he would use the stock housing, so they would effectively be covers, replacing the red/amber stock ones. Initially, he's only gonna make one set, to see how they fit/look. Then go from there.
Simmonds, email me at Pistol_pete24@hotmail.com so I can get you hooked up with Jason.
Some MX-3 tail lights are still needed before they can be test fitted. If anyone is garaging their car for the winter or something, it would be great if they could just lend us your tail lights so we could get the prototype pair done.
Thanks.
------------------
David Coleman #2
1993 Mazda MX-3 GS Special Edition
1/4 mile: 16.05 @ 85.7mph
Update!ACT II is now in! see ya at the strip!
Updated Nov 5thPinkMX-3.com MX-3.com registry

I guess I'll be in for a set of clears depending on the price. I am going to have to paint part of it red so the cops don't f--- with me too much. The way to get around the price of buying tailights to test fit. The person who lives in atlanta just buy a set of taliights real cheap and just average the price of the lights in to what you charge everyone to buy the clears that way you won't have to collect money2x and everything would work out. It would be liek a few bucks a person extra. If I lived in atlanta I would but there are alot of list members who already do so if one of them will step up that would be great..if not then I will see what I can do but I live in New Orleans about 10 hours from atlanta.

"Mymx3bumps" or David Coleman:What course of action has been taken in reference to getting the taillights fitted on "Simmons's" car? Is there an update on the project?

Well it's been a while since I updated ya'll[actually its been a week or so, but some people expect hourly updates....]
The project is now under another MX-3 owner's control. I was not interested in this as I dont really car for clear tail lights as i previously stated.
His name is Antonio and I will leave it up to him to post his contact information up here as it is his project now. Talking to Jason, it seems like the project is flowing smoothly, as he is expecting the tail lights soon to begin test fitting the prototype lenses to.
Hope this all comes through for ya'll.
------------------
David Coleman #2
1993 Mazda MX-3 GS Special Edition
1/4 mile: 16.05 @ 85.7mph
Update!ACT II is now in! see ya at the strip!
Updated Nov 5thPinkMX-3.com MX-3.com registry
[This message has been edited by David Coleman (edited December 02, 2000).]

Greetings
I am Antonio, head of the clear taillights endeavor. For those of you who are currently subscribed to the egroups MX-3 mailing list, disregard this post as it is the same one I have posted on the list.
*********************************************
Firstly, sorry to use the board like this. I needed a way to contact anyone
interested in taillights efficiently.
All those interested in obtaining clear taillights e-mail me personally at:
badboy 01 @ optonline . net
(without spaces)
**Do not reply to this on the board**
You must meet the following conditions, so think about it first before
e-mailing me:
1) You are US/Canada based.
2) You are positive that you want it, definately sure and will not change
your mind later for ANY reason.
3) You can afford to pay around $200+ for a set. Please note that the
price has not been finalized but will most probably be in that area.
4) Agree to the preceding rules.
Please only serious e-mails, if you are unsure on whether you want them or
not, are interested in altezza's or some other reason that might cause me to
waste time, don't bother. If you have any serious (logical) questions feel
free to e-mail me.
When e-mailing please put CLEAR TAILLIGHTS in the subject line. (Yes all
caps). This will enable me to sort out the e-mails and respond to you
quicker. Thanks.
Regards,
Antonio
