zx-2 vs. mx-3 spring perches

Post by Redhouse »

if you choose not to modify the existing mx-3 spring perches to fit the round zx2 thrust bearing, can you purchase/use the zx2 perches instead? i have heard the are a bit $$ but they would still be cheaper than buying a dremel or stone sander..<p>just curious

if you can find a used ones from zx2, that will be cheaper. Instead of a dremel tool, I used my electric drill, and just bought some dremel stones that can be used like a drill bit. It was only $5. :D
So I think it's cheaper to modify, unless you can get free zx2 perches from somewhere.
Check out my ride and leave some feedback please!

Just dermel it. I got my spring perches at the local wreckers, but it's not worth the hassle.
