Automatic seatbelt recall? Elect motor gear?

Post by peb »

I have heard that there is a recall for the seatbelt retractors. Anyone have any info on that. I tried to search for some info but came up flat. The driver's side electric window lift doesn't work. I discovered that the motor is fine, but the gear is badly worn. Can anyone help with part number for just the gear? Is it available, gear only? How about availability for the whole assembly?
Where is a good place to get rear hatch lift cylinders? Any suggestions on where to buy a clutch for a good price.

There's a lifetime warranty on the automatic safety belt system in the MX-3. Take it to a Mazda dealership and tell them you know about the recall/warranty.

They cant charge you as far as I know... since its an open recall on the life of the car. The only reason the recall is open forever is because it is on the restraint system, and you could die because of their mistake...

Just keep pressuring the high-ups at the dealerships, and they will do it for you
