need cold air intake idea's

I just got a K & N filter ... I took out the big ulgy box but I still have the cheap plastic tubing ... any idea's on what I can replace this with and can you have pictures to show me ... also can I take off the mass air sensor cause its from my old 1.8L and it gives me errors after driving on the hiway for a bit . sorry I forgot to add ... I now have a 2.5 V6

1.6L? Do you have a V-6 or 4 cyl.? Anyway you can make one from stainless or steel, both are sold by JC Whitney in a mandrell bent "U" pipe, under the exhaust section, that you can cut and then have welded at a local muffler shop. As for the MAF or VAF you really should keep it unless you have an engine management system.
