mx6 - mx3 clutch

Post by DavidOS »

does the 2.5 mx6 clutch fit in the 1.8 mx3?

ie: street-import.com
sells clutchs for the 1.8 for 440 dollars

and the mx6 for 380 dollars.

so can i just tak the mx6 clutch and dump it in?

im guessing i can and save myself a bit of money.... also an engine swap will be done in the future so wondering if that will work

Harlem~~

I was told that if I order a clutch from CM, to order the MX-6 clutch and NOT the MX-3. I was told it is suppose to be 10mm bigger..thus, 10mm more grip. Would you concur?

stock G-series transmission clutch size is 225mm A few of the lower powered cars have 215mm versions, but it doens't matter. All of the clutches are interchangeable between flywheels so 225 or 215 is up to you.

I'm using a MX3 ACT and it was 225mm when I pulled it out of the box, so who knows.
