ok i just recently bypassed the coolant lines that went to the little intercooler looking thing that behind the center counsel in the cooling our heating unit(sorry dont know the name)..because i toook that whole thing out. any way...after i did that , when i drive at high way speeds the check engine light comes on....but when i take a tad bit of pressure of the gas(just a little bit) it will go away...it might come back in 5 mins our it might take 2 hour for the check engine light to come on...but if i let of the gas it goes away...what can this be ???? thanx for help [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Man, you took out your heater? I live in South Florida and I STILL wouldn't do that. But then again, I'm a wuss when it comes to the cold. Specially when getting in a freezing cold car. <P>I hate heat too and I couldn't live without A/C, but at least I could open the windows to help somewhat when the car's moving.

I have the exact same symptoms and I pulled a code 17 and 24 (and 5 but thats unrelated I think) 17 and 24 are for the o2 sensor, left and right o2 inversion....which I think means they are no good. did you jump the diagnostic to get the codes?
