If you advance the timing, the ECU will retard it back.
------------------
David Coleman- Moderator
1993 Mazda MX-3 GS Special Edition
Why get clear tail lights when only Geo Metros are gonna see them?

It is ECU controlled. If you unplug it, it wont work too well. Trust me on this one Image

I did advance timing, but even my mechanic told me the Ecu will control it.
Is there any other way to fool it>?
I might change for Superchip, maybe it will help
------------------
shawnm
MX-3 red blaze...POLAND
UIN 21934953
shawnm@wp.pl

I can get EPROMS that are already re programmed for more advance timing for the 94 2.5 Liter ECM.
Its 100 dollars and you need to have it installed.
You could do it if you are good with the soldering iron or pay some electronic store to do it.
Steve

------------------
All motor 176WHP Mx3 - Dyno test coming in April
