Re: thermostat for KLZE

avoid jobber units, and if you want a bit cooler, drill holes (little) besides the jiggle pin at the top of the thermo.

Re: 1994 1.8L V6 Compression?

mine, 1994 K8, has 205 psi on all 6. Spec is 195 psi brand new.

Hard to believe, but my engine has 197 000km , but has been really well maintained.

Make sure you do not have leaks on the gauge, and remember the minimum is 140 psi.

See first post for the videos.

Honestly, I can sell the kit for $120, but this is my final price and this decision has been taken to accomodate every Mx-3 owners here.

Cheers, Ralph.

Re: Hood damper kit - IN PRODUCTION -

If they can get some for 130$, all they have to do is to buy it !

I'm happy for everyone if they can find a kit for 130$.

Pictures are coming this evening.

Thanks.

Re: Hood damper kit - IN PRODUCTION -

Most kits are sold in the range of 300$. If you think all kits will fit, try it by yourself. You will find that is more complex than it appears first !

Pictures are coming this weekend.

And thanks again for new products development encouragement !

Re: K8 headers..

I'm running OBX-R ''Hotshot replica'' KL 2.5L headers on a K8 right now. Much more low and mid range torque, and you have to get a 2.25'' line, modified.

Your intake is'nt from a millenia: it's (for sure) from a 1998-2002 626 V6.

Re: swapped ZE.. spark, fuel, cranks, no start

Maybe the engine got shaked in transport and some oil passed in the combustion chamber.

When it started, was there any blue smoke from the exhaust that took long time to disappear ?

I experienced this with a turbo JDM Toyota 4E-FTE engine this summer.

Re: K-Series Similarities/Differences

All KF-ZE's have round port intake runners, since they use K8 heads (except the cams).

K8/KF/KL oil pumps are all the same. KJ (2.3L SC) is different.

Re: Car not even trying to start!

You need a JE50 VAF (1992-96 Mx-3 V6 and 1992-95 929 V6 3.0) to solve the problem, and injectors are not the same on Probe GT/Mx-6.

Probe GT/MX6: 220cc
Mx-3 V6: 180cc

That isn't true.

All K-Series V6 can have their cams interchanged.
