Need to know that if on a 1.6L DOHC 16valve 4 banger, the automatic transmission can be taken off and replaced by a 5 speed manual.. directly bolted.. ??

A set of oil control rings are 80 bucks because most places will only sell them as a set, and you really should replace them all at once anyhow..for anyone that would like to know, I can't tell you if thats what it is yet, but im going to replaced the rings while I've got it out anyways... might as ...

yeah that's great advice.. feel like doing the labour haha ;) im actually in the process of oil control rings because I've replaced the valve sleals and guides, as well as checked the bore of the cylendars.. and they are fine..so really.. the only thing left that it would be is either a cracked bloc...

looking to just replace my engine (1.6L DOHC 16 Valve).. need something quick.. don't want anything from the US, because of customs etc.. need decent km's.. good compression etc. I'm in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia..
