Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

I am having problems getting the dyno sheet into a picture format. The peak hp gains are 8 whp and 3 torque on a stock 1.6 Mx3 DOHC. This is measuring just the peak power vs peak power. What that doesn't tell is the gains at higher RPM with the power does drop a bit. The torque gains at 6200 RPM is ...

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

Yeah we are across the river to the North, 10 minutes from PDX.

I will see if I can chase up some dyno sheets.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

Ok back to the header. The price is not as good as I had hoped. We are looking at $375 for the header. We have tossed around a few ideas and if we could get 15 people who signed up to buy with $50 down we would do a GB for $299. It will take some time for these to be made. We would be looking at abo...

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

On a side note we have two shops to purchase CorkSport brand parts at in Canada. The do stock are more popular selling parts.

Overseas Auto in Vancouver BC and Dynamique Auto in Montreal QC Click here for a link for both of them

Give them a shot for the parts if you are in Canada.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

We are not a hoax. We have just been away from the Mx3 market a bit too long.

I apologize for the wait on the price. We are still working out a few things in regards to it.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

We have been back and forth on doing a catback for the Mx3. The only reason we have not done it is we did not get enough interest when we brought it up a few years ago on the forum.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

Sorry about the dead picture links. We just cut loose our new webpage and I have edited the picture links to work again. We tested the header out on a SOHC model and there are some things that we have to tweak for fitment on those cars. One thing that is common between the SOHC and DOHC is the heade...

What we really need is feedback from MX3 owners on ideas. Without letting us know ideas or suggestions or who would be interested it makes it difficult to get parts going.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Intakes

We have a VAF adapter which can be used. We will also have a support bracket on this. We tried out the fitment on a board members SOHC and we need to tweak a few things.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header

We have done some dyno testing on the header. Most of the power is made at the mid-top end range. The peak gains were 10hp and 6 torque.
