well build an bp for your mx making about 200 hp and you will park the camaro. The power to weight ratio plays a HUGE role in the matter, not to mention the handling and such of the mx-3. It is a great car to drive and just about all of the dual cam engines will take a TON of abuse. I ran my stock ...

At 7 psi on a motor that ran a compression 50 psi below stock it pulled 198 hp and 211 ft lbs of torque, and on ...

advance
Well if it is in fact runinng rich, which you said it was, turn your disty until its advanced as far as it will go, run premo gas at all times and listen for "loose change" under the hood, which is known as detonation. If you hear this or even think that you hear it your timing is advanced too far ...

belt dressing
Well to all that have a squeeling belt, go to your nearest parts store (ie advance, autozone etc.) and pick up a can of belt dressing. Generally speaking that will take care of the squeeling.

well
Well as far as the head gasket not that hard, and not too time consuming, I would say a person with a basic understanding of automotives could install one with hand tools in on a saturday or so. As far as the valve seals unless you are fairly proficient in the topic I would suggest you take the head ...

Exactly, clutch chatter is exactly what it sounds like to me, hard to diagnose without seeing it. But that would be my hypothesis.

clutch
Sounds like your problems could be coming from an uneven clutch, pressure plate or flywheel. Does it make any squeeling sounds?

simple
Well seeing how I have access to a machine shop if I need it, combined with my experience as a machinist/welder, I dont really find anything to complicated, actually I wanted to take a chevy 350 and make a transmission so it was front wheel drive and drop it in my mx. However I find that you cant ...

parts
all of the mechanical parts will be swapped with the zetec, as far as electrical goes why use any stock computer when I can drop in a standalone in the same amount of time? and actually i believe that the zetec has more potential that a na bp, as far as a bpt already been there and f@$%ed up just ...

motormounts
motormounts are easy to custom make, I cant see any complicated issues in the swapping process, seems like all the mounts are in realativly the same places on both the bp and the zetec.
