Hello, thanks for the reply. Ok sounds like a good plan, but this may sound a it blonde but which earth do i check? behind stereo or in the engine bay???? also i do not have an amp.

Stereo Makes a humming noise each time i accelerate

Hello Grant, Ok, finally got round to checking out the lighting issue and changed the fuse as advised, checked all connections in the engine bay connected to the lights and the day after it still did the same. Perhaps you are right in thinking it could be a faulty relay? i will get a quote from Mazd...
